Ratios of across- to within-array CVs. Across-array and within-array CVs were computed for three worm transcripts. The ratio of across-array to within-array CV is shown. Across-array CV was computed from measurements of the same probe set across three different worm array designs (A, B and C). Within-array CV was computed from serial measurements of the same probe set within the same array design. Ratios for the Fs metric are closer to 1 than those for the ADs metric, indicating that measurements of the same transcript on different array designs were more reproducible in the Fs metric than the ADs metric. | |||
